The Obama Administration & Democrats Engage In Lies:
No Way Around It & Rushing the US to Financial Ruin
Hope and Change, remember that? Remember the promise that President Obama was going to be a different kind of politician? He was singlehandedly going to change Washington D.C....who knew that just about everything that he promised was a stretch. I am being generous here, as I believe that President Obama said exactly what he needed to in order to get elected. He pulled the wool over a lot of eyes, least of which was not the MSM, liberal elites and the ever loyal Hollywood 'lap dogs.'
George Soros, Saul Alinsky (if he were alive), George Clooney et al, the American Socialist Society1 are all dancing in the aisles. They are ecstatic; they have just the man and team in place to move America toward the socialist utopia they have ever sought. And, all we had to do was truly understand the true man, the true Barrack Hussein Obama. The writing was truly 'on the wall.'
You know the Obama Administration is in trouble when even All Barrack Company News (ABC) has the following headline:
ABC: $160,000 Per Stimulus Job? White House Calls That 'Calculator Abuse'
Brian Schmidt, director of planning and programming for the commission said that his staff originally reported to the Obama administration that the stimulus money saved 250 jobs. Then, realizing they had mistakenly double credited, they later changed that to 125 jobs. Tuesday, they updated it again to 74 jobs.
Cost Per Jobs Created By Stimulus Dollars/Cost High-Jobs Created Low (Very Low)
The Stimulus (and any and all spending) saved 74 jobs, hey maybe as many as 250 jobs. I've heard that the cost per job saved could have been as high as$55,000. Anyway, something is fishy about the numbers and those behind them, and guess what there's more! Oh, and not to be left out here's
CBS: Admin's Trillion-Dollar Stimulus Claims "Hard to Believe" The CBS "Evening News" aired a report Thursday night on the jobs claims.
The massaging of numbers related to jobs isn't the only lie perpetrated by this administration. Yesterday, the GDP number was released. President Obama got on the teleprompter and boasted that this number is the best in the last 2 years. The teleprompter operator may well have been one of those jobs saved and/or created; even this number is under question. A key fact is that the stock market dove today, oops. I don't trust anything coming from the left side of the aisle. Barron's carries the following article on the GDP increase that isn't there:

What's clear is there was a lot less to the GDP number than what lit up the bulls' eyes.
Declarations of the end of the recession may be premature. All recessions in the past four decades have had at least one positive quarter for GDP, followed by a renewed downturn, points out John Williams, who produces the Shadow Government Statistics (www.shadowstats.com) for his subscribers, who suspect there may be more (or less) to the numbers the government churns out.
Indeed, he writes, some 92% of the third quarter's GDP growth came from non-recurring factors and thus are not sustainable. (Funny how the stock market will ignore non-recurring factors in corporate earnings reports but took those in the GDP report at face value.)
"The estimate of 3.5% annualized real growth for third-quarter GDP included a 1.7% gain from auto sales, a 0.6% gain from new residential construction, and a 0.9% gain from a largely-involuntary inventory buildup, which appears to be understated," Williams writes in subscriber note.

There are lies, damned lies and statistics! one can make their numbers fit the story, and it seems Team Obama is great at "controlling its message.'
All of this is well and great, but the biggest whopper of the week goes to Madame Speaker 'San Fran Nan' Pelosi's 1900
page 'Health Care Reform' Legislation. There is something like 25 (at last count) tax increases (sorry, that's competition) and the 'public option.' The greatest lie, and I will outright use the word as there is no other way to describe the lies about its cost and who will pay for this. Pelosi insists the cost would be below $830 Billion, while the CBO and others have begun scoring it at above $1 Trillion!!!
Watch the gimmicks, too. The sly trickery that happens on Halloween isn't only from adolescents trying to prank their friends, but Democrats trying to prank the citizen's of the United States. It is absolutely amazing that Democrats can get away with these falsehoods. If Ronald Reagan and/or Bush Co. tried to pull the wool over the eyes of the electorate in this manner they would be flayed by the MSM. Not only would that but the Democrats be calling for Special Prosecutors in addition to Impeachment proceedings. Double standards, you betcha.
Systematically, this Administration and the Democrats are trying to accomplish the very thing our enemies are attempting: the destruction of the greatest nation on God's green Earth. Economically, with Cap and Tax, TARP, the Stimulus, Health Care Reform, deficit spending that has quadrupled in the last year are leading us to financial ruin. The purpose behind Bin Laden's and al-Qaeda's 9/11 was the very same thing. The Soviet Union ('memba Nikita Khrushchev pounding his shoe at the UN?) tried the same thing, to bury the US economically. The Democrats and Obama are attempting to run the US into financial doom in order to continue the path toward Socialism (with liberal elites controlling wealth and our lives).

One thing can be said as of October 30, 2009. America is the closest she has ever been to being a socialist country, we stand on the precipice of economic and political oblivion. These are strong words, words that I am hesitant to write, but the time for silence is over. Edmund Burke has one of the greatest quotes ever and they are more poignant today than ever:
