Gov. Rick Perry had some pretty strong comments about the Obama administration on Wednesday in Midland, saying, “This is an administration hell-bent on taking America towards a socialist country.”

This dovetails with something I was struggling with this afternoon. Listening to Hannity's show today, he had a 'Man on the Street' interview-- with a woman who kept claiming that equality in all things is just. The typical 'social justice' mantra that we get from liberals. I just don't get it. Where does this leaning come from? Our education system? Do we no longer teach anything about the Constitution? No where is there a guarantee of equal success or results, only the equal opportunity to success.
Hannity hit her with the following:

This seems to be the thinking. And, for goodness sakes, that is
Karl Marx. We have more liberals believing that they must take from those with and give to those without. Not only that, but they get to decide what should be taken, how much, etc. Isn't that what our Forefathers' fought against? A political class has evolved to the point where we now have a President and House & Senate that are quickly moving in that direction. A direction where they know best and those out of power are merely their pawns. Any dissent is dismissed as Unpatriotic, as right wing kookery. Hmmmm...
The Pelosi Care bill that passed by a mere 5 votes last weekend makes it legal for the government to take from those with and give to those without. And it criminalizes a choice, the choice not to buy what our government tells us we must. When does it stop? Detroit? Health Care? The government now has a Pay Czar that has told bankers what they can and cannot earn. There is the very clear threat that the Pay Czar might move beyond those who received TARP funds. When do we move to nationalization of electricity? What is next? We are headed in a very dangerous direction, very dangerous...
When a former president calls patriots objecting and dissenting to legitimate concerns as a sexually derrogative term, te-baggers, we have a real problem. How soon will political objections be criminalized? How long until we see our news organizations attacked and targeted by the political class? Oh wait, Anita Dunn comes to mind...oh wait I am just a mere right wing nutter, hyping hysteria...
